A very good choice for strategic gamers. Played this game for hours on hours.. I play this game on and off to pass the time & I must say this game is somewhat complex and has a bit of a learning curve however it is absolutely brilliant. The only things I could fault it on is it's performance on lower end laptops \/ desktops & the lack of a Gulf war & Vietnam war start date other than that I'd recommend buying this game even if it's not on sale.. This game has a huge potential. However, every new game they release is just a worse copy of the older one. Created a powerful alliance between Portugal, USA, Canada, Mexico, and the UK. Started to improve the economy and create jobs. Began to purchase technology and military hardware from allied nations. The world begins to go into chaos. South Korea begins an invasion of North Korea, Japan declares war on China, Germany invades Poland?! (in the year 2021). France, Italy, Denmark declare war on Germany. Germany annexes Denmark. Ukraine declares war on Poland. Poland ceased to exist. Portugal seeks opportunity and finds it when the nations of Northern Africa begin to enter a chaotic period of war. Portugal invades Morocco and Algeria with assistance from Canada, Mexico, USA, UK, and Iceland???? Portugal annexes Morocco and Algeria, whilst Germany ceases to exist divided in half between Ukraine and the Netherlands which somehow found its way into the war. France declares war on Italy and begins to lose, when suddenly Spain joins France in the invasion of Italy, but Italy and Portugal share a Mutual Defense agreement and thus, Portugal declares war on Spain while Italy fights France. Spain is almost no longer a nation. Portugal prepares for annexation. With the Italian and British allies fighting in the north of Europe, Portugal aims its sights at expansion across Africa. Early Access though. Good tutorials.. This is and always will be my favorite game on pc. I think I uninstalled it like three times before I learned the management system but there really is nothing like it. One game germany wins and you're holding out as Australia, the last free country as the axis bear down on you. The next game with the exact same settings you watch in awe a Canada intervenes in WW2 early and defeats germany and italy and becomes a superpower by 1955. I love this game.. The game is great, however, there needs to be an unit limit for everyone in the game as the performance significantly reduces over time even on a powerful rig. i made half the world communist10\/10 would rush b again. I really enjoyed this game with my previous system. Don't expect a AAA title but I still found it very fun. My issues with the game arose when I updated my system several months ago. The game now crashes every time I attempt to play it and though this is likely be due to the new hardware there seems to be no attempt to update the game to make it stable enough to play. This is frustrating because it has been over 6 months since I updated my system and now 70% of my games do not work anymore. Steam wont respond to my messages and I am still waiting for Battleye to respond to my message. If you have a new system beware, help is hard to come by and the game is completely unplayable on a new system in this state. Below I will place my system details (dxdiag already attached to my message to Battleye).Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-8750H CPU @ 2.20GHz (12 CPUs), ~2.2GHz16 GB RAMWindows 10I've searched forums. Steam seems to take the stance that it isn't their problem so I am out hundreds of dollars in now unusable games. With no fix seemingly on the horizon and Steam apparently taking the stance that I will have to just pay more money to have usable games (brand new games) I feel robbed and will be attaching this review to every game in my library that no longer functions.
